Ask yourself this question right now… “Is the life I am living right now going to send me to the grave sooner rather than later”? Be honest with yourself. Then ask yourself if you care what the answer is.
If you do care don’t make excuses about your health. The excuses are so easy to make, but most often they are the reason that our lifestyles become terminal. I am too tired to exercise, I’m too stressed so I’ll just have a few drinks, it’s my best friend’s birthday so I’ll just have a little cake.
Whenever we make excuses, we allow ourselves to give up the power we have over our future. Many of us know how hard it is to lose 10 pounds only to give in to temptation and gain back 15 pounds. We didn’t only give in to temptation, we gave up power over our health.
Many years ago, I dated a guy who had the philosophy that it didn’t matter how he lived, what he ate or how much he slept because he could be hit by a bus any day. I always agreed that he could be hit by a bus any day, but if he didn’t, I argued, wouldn’t he want to age with as much health as he could.
Don’t make your lifestyle as bad as a terminal disease. Get up and exercise at least three times a week. Eat foods that are anti-inflammatory and hypo-allergenic. Get a full night’s sleep. Look on the brighter side of things. And, of course, GET ADJUSTED regularly to keep your body functioning at its best!
The secret of joy in work is contained in one word: excellence. To know how to do something well is to enjoy it.
-Pearl Buck
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is therefore not an act but a habit.
-Aristotle
Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.
-Martin Luther
Few cases of eye strain have been developed by looking on the bright side of things.

To keep the body in good health is a duty...otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.
