Where Does Healthcare Come From?

With the upcoming presidential election, many American citizens are wondering what will happen with healthcare in the United States. However, I say a big fat “PHOOEY!” on all of that! Insurance coverage, or no insurance coverage, healthcare is just that: caring for your health.

When you take the time and do the right things to take care of yourself, whether you have insurance coverage or not or who you are insured through doesn’t matter because it will be rare when you are sick enough to need to see a doctor. Don’t get me wrong, accidents happen, unexpected serious illnesses can occur and genetic problems will always exist, but even if they do when you take proper care of yourself the aftereffects of these problems will be minimal.

When a person chooses to live a destructive lifestyle like smoking and has been doing so for, say, 20 years, then comes down with the flu, what happens? Statistics show that smokers are more likely to get respiratory infections and that when they do get sick, they tend to get sicker than non-smokers. At this point where does the healthcare come from? Is it the doctor that will prescribe an antiviral drug or is it the choice that this person had 20 years ago to say no to the cigarettes? Just a thought.

True health care comes from the choices you make in regards to your health. Insurance companies can’t make them for you. Insurance companies can only decide what they will or will not pay for in a doctor’s office. If the insurance company pays for something in a doctor’s office, it is usually because of a sickness so it really isn’t healthcare at that point. Making the right choices can help you prevent disease so you won’t be trapped later wondering if your insurance will cover it or not. Choose to stay healthy.

Healthcare The Easy Way!

True healthcare is caring for your health and not waiting to get sick before you think about health. Here are the “basics” of healthcare…

Eat a good diet of fresh foods with the right mixture of vegetables and proteins, being sure to cut out sugars and all the artificial sweeteners, and preservatives.

Get the right amount of rest each night. This may be a little more for some people than others.

Exercise regularly.

Look on the bright side and find the silver lining in every cloud. A positive mental attitude can do wonders for illness prevention.

Be sure your body can communicate with itself without any interruption. Chiropractic care is great for this!
